Collagraph

Collagraph with Ann d’Arcy Hughes
An exciting introduction to the printmaking medium, recycle your favourite textures and make your own block using found materials. Using thick card as a base, textures are glued to the block to build up and create an image. The block is protected with Shellac before inking up using black or coloured inks and then printed using the Rochat or electric etching press. Colour can also be added using the Chine colle technique.

Materials - card for blocks, inks, cleaning materials and muslin are included in the course fee.

Paper is not included and can be purchased from the studio.
